Schengen Visa blogs for Indian citizens are a dime a dozen, then what makes this blog any different?

As everyone’s experience is different, awareness manifests differently in every experience as well. The main objective of this article is to contribute to the existing facts on Schengen visas.

India has become a booming tourism market for Europe in recent years. India is one of the most remunerative tourism markets in the world. Hereof, Europe had a 17% share of the Indian outbound tourism market in the year 2018.

People get confused about what exactly is the right way to book flights & hotels. In order to get approved for your visa application, the visa officer will ask for confirmed flight & hotel bookings. But what if you get rejected for the visa but have already booked your flight and hotel?

This is when Citron Tours comes to your rescue.

Schengen Tourist Visa

“The Goal is to die with memories; not Dreams”

Here’s my two cents!

With a single Schengen visa, you can travel to about 26 countries in Europe? Isn’t that liberating?

In Europe, out of 50 countries, 26 countries have signed a Schengen agreement which is a treaty that allows you to travel to all 26 countries in Europe with a single visa. That is the power of the Schengen visa!

Presently, 22 European Union (EU) countries and 4 Non-EU countries comprises the Schengen Region.

EU Countries include Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Switzerland, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Iceland don’t come under European Union but they’re part of the Schengen agreement.

If you have a valid, double, and/or multiple entries Schengen visa on your passport, you can visit Bulgaria, Cyprus, Romania, and Croatia without any additional visa.

“Dare to live the life you’ve always wanted”

You can also visit some of the non-Schengen countries like Colombia, Antigua, Montenegro, Georgia, Barbuda, Kosovo, Gibraltar, Albania, Bosnia, Macedonia, Mexico, Turkey, Serbia, Herzegovina, Sao Tome, and Principe that allow Indian passport holders with a valid Schengen visa to enter for free.

So, you can visit 26 Schengen countries + 15 non-Schengen countries with a Single Schengen visa.

So, what are you waiting for?

“Jobs fill your pockets; Adventures fill your soul”

Schengen Countries

It is the best choice for tourists who wish to explore all the beauty of these countries at once. Yes! One visa allows you a visit all these 26 countries, these regions are very well known for the best views in the world. From green plains to modern infrastructure, beautiful towers to historic architecture, high mountains to snow covered regions, and beautiful ports and palaces.

But how do I apply for an Indian Schengen Visa?

First of all, plan how long your trip will be, how many times you are planning to visit & your purpose. Short-stay visas last up to 90 days for travel purpose whereas, Work or Study visa is for longer. Multiple-entry visas are also available if you’re planning to travel regularly to the Schengen countries.

You must apply for your India Schengen Visa only if you’re traveling within a 6 months period of time after applying and no fewer than 15 days.

Thai individuals are known for being particularly inviting, amicable, and accommodating. Remember whoever you’re speaking with, end the sentence with either “ka” or “krup” literally indicates a way to show respect. “Ka” is said by women and “krup” is used by men.

Once, you step into the Thailand as a Visitor, you’ll be surprised to notice that Thai people wearing similar colors. This is because each day is assigned a particular colour in a week. This is not followed by all the thais but some of the people will do (especially who are working in government sectors).

Monday is for yellow. Tuesday is for pink. Wednesday is for green, and so on. Yellow represents the late King Bhumibol, who is a Monday-born person.

Mai pen rai!

As a tourist, you should learn the phrase “mai pen rai” before entering into the thailand kingdom. Mai pen rai literally translated into ‘don’t worry’ and this is one of the most frequently used phrases you’ll hear in the sois of thailand.

“Wai” represents the Most respectful greeting in the sois of thailand. This greeting mean a multitude of things, including hello, thank you & goodbye.

But how much do we really understand about the Thai smile?

The Answer: pretty much nothing at all.

4. Yim mee lessanai smile that masks the bad intent.

5. Yim chuead chuean is a bad guy smile

6. Yim dor dhaan smile indicates disagreement of someone’s idea but still saying that “you can go ahead”

7. Yim sao is the Smile of sadness

8. Yim haeng indicates a dry smile

9. Yim suu suu Indicates the Smile of encouragement

10. Yim yoh-yae smile indicates there is no point in crying over what happened.

11. Yim thang nam daa smile indicates when someone is sad but still smiling outside.

12. Fuoon Yim indicates a fake smile

13. Yim taak thaai indicates the Smile of Convenience

Thailand is a heavily buddhist country with more than 41,000 temples and more being built all the time in many regions. You can easily explore four to five temples in one day on foot. Some of the most iconic temples in thailand are the white temple in chiang rai, the temple of reclining buddha in bangkok and so on.

Apart from temples, Thailand is also famous for its beautiful monasteries, beaches, parks, and palaces. Just move on, mate.

A country that is rich with it’s culture and tradition.

It’s no surprise that there are many enthralling festivals in thailand which are celebrated throughout the year and offers an exciting opportunity to celebrate with family, friends and loved ones.

Museum of The Future

From the time you step into this article, get your Space Shuttles dialed into the year 2071! Seems unbelievable? It’s real.

Could you ever imagine a building that covers an area of 30,000 square meters and stands at 77 meters in height without a single column and with zero corners?

The Museum of the Future, is an architectural marvel, one of the most beautiful buildings in the world. It took around six years and it took millions of dollars to build this engineering marvel.

We all know Museums exhibit antique artifacts or present-day items. So, what exactly is the Museum of the future?

This Museum sits just in front of the Emirates towers looming high over Dubai city’s driverless Metro system. This building is unique and it looks like a human eye, an eye looking toward the future. As it is round in shape, there is not a single corner in this building and it also has no columns. The exciting factor is that the final look of the Museum of the Future was selected from designs submitted through a six-week competition.

The facade installation of the museum alone took over 18 months. The facade consists of 1024 unique panels (representing a kilobyte of data). Wait until you enter the seven-story-high Museum of the Future and you will realize how unique it is. The facade has letters written all over in beautiful Arabic calligraphy.

The Only building in the world covered with a Language!

And do you know what’s hiding inside? I know the secret… Would you like to know as well? Let’s hop in right away.

A glimpse into the world, 50 years from now is just as futuristic as the exterior. It has 7 floors with 5 wonderful chapters. Each chapter represents a unique concept &every nook and corner speaks about the future.

Chapter 1 – OSS Hope:

OSS (Orbital Space Station), is the place where you need an imagination. OSS Hope includes an amazing space shuttle simulation that starts and ends with a countdown, has realistic shuttle sounds, and movement (don’t worry, you’ll barely feel anything) and you can view the video clips of the futuristic Dubai through the ‘shuttle’s windows’ as you shoot off into space.

Once you’re docked at OSS Hope, you enter and disembark at the command center of the station. There are plenty of things to see here including exploring the missions the OSS Hope undertakes, possible discoveries, inventions, engaging with important projects, and more, with planet earth as inspiration.

Chapter 1 -The Heal Institute:

The Heal Institute features a library of life, or as it is called “The Vault of Life”. Here, you’ll find a DNA library having the DNA codes of over 2,400 species (Some of them are extinct) where you can see the details that are invisible to the naked eye.

Here, we can experience the wonders of Nature, the sounds of the rainforest with plenty of greenery, we will also learn more about the importance of climate change and what we as humans have to do to preserve it.

It’s not an Institute anymore, it is a “Digital Amazon”.

Chapter 3 – Al Waha:

As the name sounds different, the place will also surprise you.

Al Waha – An Unprecedented “Wellness Centre for the future!” Which literally translates to “Oasis” in the English language.

The future of wellness is a trip to a sanctuary, free from technology. Here, you will be brought to a ‘safe Sanctum’ where you can find inner peace for your mind and body.

So here at AI Waha, you’ll be encouraged to visit all areas to re-energize yourself, leaving technology behind. In some places, we need to experience this alone while in others there will be group participation. You can even make a wish at the end. That’spretty cool, isn’t it?

Chapter 4 -Tomorrow Today:

Question? ‘What can we expect about how the world will be 50 years from now?’
Tomorrow Today focuses on technology and it provides insights into how designers, researchers, and corporations are responding to the technological innovations of our time.

Technology has the power to change and transform the way we live. From a relaxing environment (AI Waha), you can now have a very clear mind to welcome Tomorrow Today. Here, you can explore near-future technologies from the world’s leading innovators & more.

Chapter 5 – Futuristic Heroes

This is the last chapter to explore – a dedicated space for children, where they can explore and play. More than a playground, we can call this an imagination lab, where children are encouraged to think creatively.

The place where children “Imagine, Design and Build their own future.”

Opening hours and Ticket information:
